Our Attorneys

Boyd Law Firm is built around two attorneys who bring different strengths to the same commitment: protect the client, pursue the full value of the case, and handle the legal process so families and businesses can focus on what matters most.

Roy J. Boyd, Jr.

Founding Attorney

Roy J. Boyd, Jr. founded Boyd Law Firm in Brunswick and has spent his career representing injured individuals and families throughout Southeast Georgia. His trial record earned TopVerdict recognition for Georgia’s Top 20 jury verdicts across all practice areas in 2024 and for the United States Top 100 jury verdicts in motor vehicle accident cases in 2024 — recognition that reflects a consistent pattern of pursuing full accountability rather than accepting early, inadequate settlement offers.

Roy handles the full range of personal injury, vehicle accident, premises liability, product liability, and wrongful death cases the firm takes on. He is the attorney at the table when cases go to trial.

Autumn N. Cocchi

Attorney
Autumn was raised in Pinckney, Michigan and attended Central Michigan University where she obtained dual bachelor degrees in finance and political science. She then attended Michigan State University College of Law. During law school, Autumn was an Associate Editor with The Michigan State Law Review. She also interned at the Wayne County Circuit Court in Detroit, Michigan and at MSU’s Low Income Taxpayer clinic, providing free legal services to individuals in controversy with the I.R.S. Autumn began practicing law in Glynn County in 2011 and joined Boyd Law Office in April 2013. Her practice focuses mainly in the areas of personal injury.

Andrew M. Ruberti

Attorney

Andrew M. Ruberti is a seasoned attorney focusing his practice on representing clients who have been injured or killed by the negligence of others, including auto and commercial truck wrecks and premises liability claims. He also represents individuals and entities in business litigation. Mr. Ruberti is a former insurance defense lawyer, having practiced at large civil defense firms in Atlanta and Savannah during the early part of his career, who now uses the firsthand knowledge and experience he gained while defending insurance companies to zealously advocate on behalf of individuals and families impacted by the negligence of others.

A native of St. Simons Island, Mr. Ruberti graduated from Glynn Academy just a few blocks away from where he currently practices in Brunswick. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Business and Commerce Administration from the University of Alabama, he went on to obtain a joint Juris Doctor/Master of Business Administration degree from Mercer University. During law school, he clerked for then-Georgia Court of Appeals Judge John J. Ellington, now a Justice of the Georgia Supreme Court. Mr. Ruberti was also a member of the Phi Delta Phi honor society.

How We Work

You talk to attorneys, not staff.

From the initial consultation through case resolution, you work directly with the attorneys at this firm — not a paralegal or case manager who relays messages.

We explain where you stand.

After every significant development, we tell you what happened, what it means for your case, and what the next steps are. Legal proceedings are confusing by design; our job is to make them navigable

We do not overcommit.

We take cases because we believe in them and have the capacity to work them properly. If we accept your case, it gets the attention it deserves
